The story behind my Ultimate CBD Cookbook. If you have ever been interested in CBD and the benefits that it can provide, you are not alone. CBD popularity is sweeping the nation as more and more people learn how amazing CBD can be. I experienced the powers of CBD first hand and became a true believer as well.
My name is Eric Provencio and I am the owner and founder of CBD Education Online. However, I first found CBD when my grandma began suffering from severe arthritis. CBD oil helped control her pain and make it much more manageable, preventing her from needing to take opioid medications. After this, my interest in CDB was sparked and I continued my research and education in all the benefits this powerful compound can offer.
Now that I have been in the CBD field for years, I decided to put together a cookbook that incorporates CBD into delicious and healthy foods. This book will not only teach you how to cook with CBD, but it will also discuss some of the benefits of CBD, how it can help your overall well-being and how you can incorporate it into your daily meals.
Everyone can benefit from recipes made with CBD. You do not need to have a medical need for CBD to be able to use it to better your health. Cooking with CBD really is for everyone! For example, consistent use of CBD oil has been shown to help lower cholesterol, reduce your risk of cancer and helps to calm stress- these all seem like benefits that are good for anyone! In addition, our book will show you how to adjust the quantity of CDB in your recipes, changing the dosages to be a little less, if you want to slowly ease into the world of CBD, or stronger for those who prefer more CBD in their daily diet.
Cooking with CBD is an easy way to begin your CBD journey. We will help you make amazing foods and drinks and learn how to add CBD into the foods you make, filling your stomach while you also provide your body with extra nutrition in the form of CBD. You really can’t go wrong there!

Importance of Dosing
While we will guide you to making great recipes with CBD, it isn’t as easy as mixing a few drops of oil into any old recipe. In fact, making sure that you have the correct dosage of CDB oil in your recipes is quite important. While you cannot overdoes on CBD, you do want to be sure you do not use too much in your cooking. Using an excess of CBD will not only over power the taste of your favorite foods, but it will also be wasteful. Good quality CBD can be pricey so you do not want to waste any! In addition, using lots of CBD oil doesn’t really increase the health benefits of the oil, so there is no real advantage of using superfluous amounts.
Yet, on the other hand, you also do not want to use too little CBD and end up not getting the full value of the oil. Dosage is a true science! Luckily, we can help you and we will teach you everything you need to know about CBD dosage in cooking within this book. Not only will we give you the exact formula to calculate the amount of CBD you should use in a recipe, considering the amount of liquid in the recipe as well as the concentration of your CBD.
We provide you with easy to use charts to guide you as well, making it even easier to incorporate CBD into your recipes. This cookbook will also discuss the strength of the CBD dose you would like to have, varying from a low dose to a high dose. You will learn all about how to use each strength dosage to your advantage, ensuring that you get the CBD you need in a consistent and delicious way. You really will learn it all and easily be able to make the recipes in our book and also add CBD to your own favorite recipes.
Tips for Cooking with CBD
This cookbook is full of little tips and tricks to help you learn to cook with CBD oil. Each recipe has been crafted to be a perfect balance of deliciousness and health benefits. You will learn more about cooking with CBD with every recipe you make. That being said, we thought we would share some of the basic CBD cooking tips with you here so that you have an idea of the cooking secrets you are about to learn.
Right away, you will learn that you always want to have CBD butter, CBD cooking oil and CBD honey or syrup on hand. Many of our recipes incorporate CBD into the foods through these carriers. However, don’t go looking in stores for these ingredients- you may find them very hard to find! We will give you the recipe on how to make all the the CBD essentials to have on hand. The first thing you make in this book will likely be CBD butter!
We add the CBD by way of butter, oil or syrup in order to keep the dosages of each recipe consistent, prevent the CBD from burning in a hot pan (the fat from the butter will protect it!) and also because it will be easy for you to use. Rather than measure out drops of CBD for every recipe, it is much easier to put a tablespoon of butter in a pan, cooking as you normally would. You can also use these ingredients in your own home cooking, following our dosage chart and the recipes for the butter, oil and syrup.
Another reason why we incorporate CBD in this manner is because you should never heat CBD directly in a pan. The more you heat CBD, the less effective it becomes. When surrounded by other ingredients, the oil will be more protected, keeping its vitality intact. Just one more little cooking hint that you will find very helpful as you start to cook with CBD.
Another very important CBD cooking tip is to order quality CBD oil. You may think that the cheaper oil would suffice since it will be mixed in with other foods. However, that is not true! You always want to get the best oil that you can afford. Quality CBD oil will be more potent, have a better taste and provide the most health benefits. Cheaper oils will be watered down with additives and may have some unnecessary components that you do not want. Besides, getting a better bottle will last you a long time is you follow our dosage chart correctly!
When you start cooking with CBD for the first time, you should follow our low dosage guidelines. You never want to jump into taking high doses of anything right off the bat, CBD included. Give each recipe a try using the lesser amounts of CBD. Then, see how the compound is effecting your overall health. Do you feel better after eating your food prepared with CBD? Do you notice a difference in your body after a few days of CBD foods? Answer these questions before ramping up the quantity of CBD in your foods.
Difference between CBD, THC and Hemp Oil
While we will discuss the differences between CBD, THC and help oil in detail in our cookbook, we thought we would point out the main differences here to clear up any confusion you may have about the ingredients you will be cooking with.
CBD oil, also known as cannabinol oil, is extracted from the flowers and buds of hemp plants. Unlike marijuana, CBD does not contain the chemical tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) which is the compound that makes you feel “high” when ingested”. The oil is legal in over 30 states and expected to pass in other states soon as well. CBD oil is highly touted for its medicinal effects, helping treat anything from arthritis, stress or even simple joint pain.
THC oil is another derivative of the cannabis plant but is made with the THC in the plant. This oil is mainly produced within the buds of the hemp plant and does give the user the feeling of being high. THC oil is prescribed for many more serious ailments like epilepsy, depression or even to help with cancer symptoms.
Hemp oil comes from the seeds, flowers and stalks of the hemp plant which is a elative of the cannabis plant. Hemp seeds are some of the most nutrient dense seeds in the world and are full of vitamins and minerals, making them a superfood. The hemp plant is much more concentrated in nutrients and rarely produces THC (only about .03% of the time) so there is very little risk that you will have any side effects to this food.
As you can see, each oil is very different, made from different parts of different plants and providing different benefits and downsides. You will learn even more about why CBD is the best choice out of these oils to cook with and take on a regular basis. There are certainly reasons!
Quick History of CBD
Before you jump into cooking with CBD, you may also be interested in learning a little bit of CBD history. While our cookbook will take you all the way back to 2727 BC when the first medical use of cannabis was recorded, here is a little preview of what you will learn regarding how CBD came to be.
The real documented cases of CBD use were in the mid 1800’s when an Irish physician and chemist published a medical paper outlining the uses of cannabis. He recommended using the product for a variety of therapeutic purposes and cited studies he conducted in India. This is when the rise of cannabis really began.
Yet, by the early 1900’s, the United States already began to ban cannabis or require a prescription to use it for medical purposes. Taxes were imposed on marijuana and it then became illegal to use across the country.
Even though the laws about marijuana were quite harsh, a team of chemists in the 1940s was able to isolate the CBD from the cannabis plant for the first time, assessing and learning about the benefits of this one component in the plant. This breakthrough would forever change CBD oil as we know it!
It wasn’t until the 1980’s and 1990’s when CBD really began to make a mark on consumers as scientists and researchers began to benefit from the oils abilities to treat pain without the negative, psychedelic effects. Yet it was hard for the public to separate the intoxicating properties of marijuana and THC from the new CBD oil.
But the benefits speak for themselves and this was clear in Europe where several pharmaceutical groups began to use the medicinal value of CBD in their products. Their early studies have influenced CBD significantly, teaching us a lot of what we know about the power of CBD.
Yet it you are looking for the point in time when CBD leaped forward in the medical world, it was in 2004 when a family treated their young daughter with CBD oil, curing her of debilitating and life threatening seizures. This is when CBD made news stands across the world and pushed forward to become a trusted and safe treatment for many ailments. CBD is now legal in many places in the United States and expected to continue to rise in popularity as it is truly beneficial to the body as a whole.
Hopefully you are intrigued about the possibilities of CDBD and excited to give the oil a try, cooking some amazing foods using our cookbook. We can’t recommend CDB enough and incorporating it into your favorite foods will help you enter the world of CBD in a delicious and healthy way!
